I know this is old but where I live daycare is 200+ A WEEK! So they’re definitely taking advantage 😭I wish I could pay 200 a month

@monkeysmommie01, lol I don’t think it’s an issue that you wanted to give them a deal and charge them less than they would have paid elsewhere. That was very nice of you ❤️The issue is that they didn’t even pay you that little amount and didn’t even communicate with you to make arrangements. Glad you sent her s message 😅😇

First of all you are already giving them an awesome deal at $200 a month. If they were at a daycare it would be ATLEAST that in one week! When I go back to work, someone I know will be watching my baby for $125 per week . Even though I’ve known her for years, I drafted an agreement that included payment amount and days, what I’m responsible for bringing , hoe we will handle holidays , sick days , etc. basically anything I could think of so expectations are set in the beginning . Then I had her come over and we reviewed them together last week . She will begin watching him in December , but I wanted to get a head start because I don’t want to ever fall out with her because of childcare miscommunication or expectations not being met. I’d say talk to them ASAP and give them a date you need the back pay money by and let them know if you won’t watch child after that date if no payment received . Then pick a day for all future payments ( like every first Friday or every Friday ) then there is no discrepancy.

When my daughter was little I would pay $200 per week (which is cheap for the Bay Area). $200/month with snacks and pick ups is nothing. They should be paying you more.

I’d tell them you need the $ by x date or they need to find new care.

Going thru that same bullshit with my sister. They wanna short change me because im family and they both make good money. If they were at a daycare they wouldn't do it so give me the same respect! So if i were you i would give them until friday to give you the remainder of the money owed or u stop watching him altogether

@mamabearxx2 that's what my husband said. And literally I, ant stand his dad. He is cocky, and a know it all .my car was shutting off while going down the road last week and he got mad that he had to pick the baby up.. Ummmm so you want me to risk your child life smh

@mamabearxx2 yea I think that's what I'm going to do. Here day care is 400 a month. No meals no snacks .
