Thinking about asking my doctor if I can have a c section. Is that possible? I just don’t think I can handle a vaginal labor considering all the hemmroids I have in my vagina & I’m scared to rip and tear. I know most women say c sections are worse but I’m literally freaking out

@cams, Nailed it on the head. For the most part it’s pretty much the same across the board that it must be medically necessary for a doctor to “Ok” a csection.

Then again some doctors will do it if you ask, and it would definitely something to discuss with your provider.

For someone who’s had both natural and csection I’d choose a vaginal delivery. The csection recovery I found to be much worse.

You will do great either way ❤️

Vaginal deliveries, in my experience, look a lot worse than they feel. The recovery of my c-section, in comparison to my vaginal deliveries, was brutal.

It’s all very scary to think about, but regardless, I’m sure it will all be fine

I had a c section because i had a still born at 38w in 2016 and it was possible i could tear again when worse if she's bigger there was a chance the tear could cause me to not be able to hold in my poop. So why i chose a c section. I still probably would because there is no way I want to be pooping myself and she was my biggest baby but if that wasn't the case i would've went vag any day.

You can always ask wont hurt. Id have a vaginal any day over a c section. They suck. My last was a c section my son tore me and I'd rather tear then have a c section.

The pushing is the easy part.

I feel like the only hard part about a c section is the recovery and the nerves. I mean you get a scheduled date to give birth and you don't go through labor (sometimes lol I started to little one tried to come early lol) and it feels like it's a 15 min thing. It's super painful after though I'll admit lol and I was super shaky and had aniexty cause I was awake during but they and my so were amazing and helped me stay calm lol

With my first I was absolutely terrified to give birth. I pushed for about an hour with her and my epidural didn't work the first time so they had to stick me again and again. While my labor pains were at their worst I was like screw this and I will just have a c-section. Once they got the epidural to actually work I was just fine and I was able to have a vaginal delivery. I had a second degree tear. With my second I had a pretty smooth labor and delivery and I was able to have another vaginal delivery. Looking back at it now, I am so glad that I didn't have to have a c-section or ask for one. I was up and walking around about 2 hours after I had my girls with little pain.

My sister went for induction and asked to just have a c-section because she freaked out and they said once the operation room is available they will do it. She waited around 6 hours and got it done.

I wish I could of had vaginal this c section recovery is brutal. It’s been over two weeks and I still have little feeling around my incision which I’m told can last for a long time. The first few days after are awful it hurts just to get out of bed you feel like your going to bust the stitching right open. Plus not only are you taking care of a newborn but you’ve also had major surgery. Would I do it all over again anyway? You bet but wouldn’t be my first choice.

You’ve got this. Either way you’ve got to go it’s so worth it

Trust me you'll want a vaginal birth. It was so hard not being able to hold baby and get skin to skin after she was born. Just get an epidural and you'll be fine! Just know it's all temporary and the c section recovery time is difficult.

You don't know what your asking for. I had 3 vaginals and 1 c-section and I'd rather have a vaginal any day.

Most doctors won’t do a section unless medically necessary. It costs more than a vaginal delivery so your insurance will play a role in the decision if you’re going for elective.
