I’m curious 🤔 What labor positions did you try and why? Did squatting or sitting in a chair work better than on a bed…

My baby came out so fast I was laying in the bed but I put my chin to chest and pushed like I was pooping and that's what helped me the most! All the other pushes I pushed regular just laying down but once I put my chin to my chest it really helped!

I did them all. If youre laboring naturally you will do what feels right. If you get epi youre on your back.

I’ve pushed on all 4s, on my side and on my back. I just do what’s comfortable. I don’t get the epidural so I can move as much as I want.

I did tried both sides left and right, on my back, sitting in a recliner, sitting on edge of bed and the one that worked was a peanut shaped ball in between my legs laying on both left and right side

@babyayleensmommy, hahaha. I think that’s what most women associate it with, taking a huge dump. 😅

@kambam, what worked for you? I’m not getting an epidural but i wondered if it was worse in one position vrs another. I agree though, it must just come naturally.

@roaringmamabear, on all fours!? Damn, I’d feel like that would pull on my tummy so much. 🙈 ow.

@melissaredfield87, the peanut ball! I had no idea that’s how you do it. 🤔I might try that and the recliner.

Lol nothing worked for me apparently. I pushed for 3hrs and ended up on my back from exhaustion. But I tried them all! Had plenty of time

@kambam, sounds like no matter what, he was coming when he decided to. Haha I agree, I’m hoping something works for me but it could be just old fashioned labor laying on your back.

@kmsespy, it helps baby rotate into the correct position if it isn’t already.
