Used the electric pump for 20 minutes and for maybe an ounce out....Attached the haaka right after and got 3.5 ounces....I don’t respond to an electric pump st all!
@cfjones914, If you plan on putting baby to breast I do recommend the haaka for the other side so it catches your let down and you don’t have to waste milk (:
@mrs.hibben, I didn’t get it and don’t think all that is necessary! Seriously best thing ever and even my husband agrees because I have been putting so much breast milk in the freezer already lol
@paigerue2013, You alone have sold me! Did you get the starter kit? Do I need all that?
@paigerue2013, that makes me nervous. I was gifted the Medela but I still get one through insurance but it’s extra for the Medela and spectra, I was thinking about getting one of them just in case mine fails or something, I’ve also heard spectra is better than Medela. This is interesting and I will keep this in mind if my supply gives me trouble!
@mrs.hibben, yup! Nothing else to do it’s just there and hands free! Lol I usually fill two of them up on the morning lol
@paigerue2013, That’s great. You just leave it suctioned the whole time he’s eating? You don’t have to do anything else?
@mrs.hibben, when he eats I have it suction to my boob on the other side and it catches the let down...it’s hands free and is helping me build a stash
@paigerue2013, That’s awesome! How long do you use the haaka?
@mamasgirls, I might just stick to the haaka lol I EBF so this is just to build a stash lol
@mrs.hibben, right though? It’s so weird but in the mornings I will get about 7 oz total and have a bag next to me ready to dump it in! And through out the day each feeding I get about 2-3 per feeding
@mamasgirls, I already had everything checked out by an LC...never responded like I did with my first either 🤷🏼♀️ some women are just like that
Remember to check the size of the pump nozzle, there are different sizes, from what I've read.
Works the best if you attach it to the opposite side at the same time you breastfeed. I hated pumping and this was so simple!
I’m so intrigued by the haaka. I didn’t think I did well with my pump either.
What’s a good electric breast pump?!
what works better to get more milk? A hand pump or a electric pump?
