At my appointment today I found out my son is already head down! Everyone is saying I probably won’t make it to my due date, and that you usually don’t after your first.
I had my first son the day before his due date.
So my question is.... did you end up having baby #2 before the due date? Did you go past your due date? I’m just curious 😊 I know it’s best for baby to bake as long as possible but I can tell he’s already running out of room!

My baby has been head down since 19 weeks. Last baby since 17 weeks. And I get/got many scans. I don't think that has absolutely anything to do with it. Both were via induction between 37-38 so they didn't come early based on that either... Look for other stories, but yeah I don't agree with the head down assumption. Although they do say 2nd is quicker... My second induction was longer. And I was dilated more 1st time around now that I think about it

Being head down really doesn’t mean much.
Both my kids went past their due date.

@tipsymermaid, @angelfoodcake, I know being head down doesn’t mean anything, I was just surprised he was already head down! My first son turned head down around 32 weeks and then was breach up until a couple weeks before my due date lol

My 1st was born @39wks, baby #2 37wks, #3 39, #4 39, #5 38, #6 39, #7 39, #8 37, #9 39, #10 39

Baby being head down doesn’t correlate to when they will be born in reality. Many babes are head down by 30 weeks and go to their due date or pass it. The two are not related at all ❤️ I’ve had patients who had babes in head down position at 28 weeks and they went to 41 weeks lol They can also go from head down to other positions up till the later stages.

@beakymcspence, I tried explaining that to my fiancé. I also tried to explain to him that you can lose your mucus plug all throughout your pregnancy but it can/will grow back. He’s a nut and freaks out over every little thing. Guess it’s not bad though lol

My second was head down early af. Like 20-24 weeks early. For me that meant lots of things I didn't experience with my first like BH, lightning sensations, etc. I had this baby a week before the due date. My baby being head down early to me meant had a big head lol oh boy was I not wrong lol but not everyone experience that, it varies.

Idk, I was induced at 36 weeks with my oldest. My second was 39wks2days, third was 39wks3days, fourth was 39weeks3days, and fifth was 39wks2 days! So I’m assuming this little one will come around the same time as her siblings

My first was born at 37 weeks and my 2nd was born at 40+3 so, wasn’t the case for me. I’m anxious to see what baby #3 decides to do.

My daughter was born 2 days before her due date and I just had my son on Sunday I was 40+3 and he's was head down and in the most favorable position from 25 weeks on!

My daughter was head down at 20 weeks. That's no indication as to when he could come.
