@kelley.blue, Yeah it’s crazy cause my mom in her 40’s and she still sucks her thumb so I’m definitely going to try and stop him. Lol it’s kinda even more weird when grown people still suck their thumb but I guess it’s a habit for some people.

@khawkins, you can give them a paci immediately. I would try some different ones if the first paci doesn't work. I'm sure some kids stop on their own and early but everyone that I know children sucked their thumbs for a long time so I'd try and break it now. My baby got hand foot and mouth disease from school and sucking her thumb got blisters all over it smh.. It was nasty! I tried everything to stop her and nothing worked. One of my bestfriends and my cousin didn't stop until they were nearly grown. I dated a guy that sucked his thumb while he slept lol and he was like 21. I mean it's not a serious issue of course but I wish I could've broken my youngest from it like I did my oldest girl.

@kelley.blue, He has pacifiers I just haven’t introduced him to them yet, idk if it’s a good time since he’s so new. But maybe I’ll try a paci because I don’t want his teeth to come in buck 😩 I’ll see how him and a paci do because he sucks his thumb so much it’s red.

@khawkins, Lol! It is cute but it's hard to break. Will he take a paci? My baby's teeth are getting buck already smh. My oldest tried to suck her thumb and I was able to stop her with a paci. I took the paci a week before she turned 1. It was easy she cried for a night and a half and that was it. But my New New wouldn't take a paci for nothing!

@kelley.blue, Lol he definitely loves that thumb! 😂 when he cries he puts his thumb right in his mouth, hopefully I can stop him before he gets too comfortable but for now I just think it’s so cute 😩🤗
