Why does he want to wait all of a sudden? You already had the appointment set!

Well just remove it you don’t necessarily have to try but that way your body can start removing the hormones from the iud. Use other methods of protection like condoms. Also explain that you won’t get pregnant right away and see what he says.

@rocilove4 actually you can get pregnant right away I got mine removed after 2 years and got pregnant the next month so she would definatly need condoms or a different form of birth control

I would still get it removed. It will take your body awhile to regulate back to what your cycle was. If he’s still not ready I would just use a different form of birth control.

@rocilove4 yeah it happens it can take up to a year but it doesn't always take that long doctors just say that to be safe cause everyone's body is different it takes some women a year and like me some women get pregnant afyer a month or 2

I got it out and got pregnant the next month so just be careful :-)
