I can't remember, how soon does baby see the pediatrician? Is it exactly one week or can it be…

Usually the 2nd or 3rd day depending on when there is an available appt.

My baby was in the nicu for 5 days but after we were released she saw s pediatrician two days after discharge

My pediatrician was at the hospital after i gave birth. They checked on her daily until i was discharged. I also saw them 3 days after.

I got out of the hospital on a Monday with my daughter, and she saw the pediatrician on Wednesday. It’s just for them to check weight mainly. And then she went again at 2 weeks old. Same with my son.

My pediatrician said 3-5 after discharge 😅 @torrilove14 @bebefever94 @rndmshtt

It may depend on the pediatrician.. but our ped. goes to the hospital to check out baby the day their born and again before discharge.. then see them sometime within a week from birth to check how baby’s gaining weight and give them another exam to make sure everything still looks good.

Both of my boys saw the ped. at 6 days old at their office and didn’t have to go back until the 2 month visit Bc they had gained significant weight since being discharged from the hospital. (Boy#2 had already gained back what he lost +2 oz).

Our first appointment was 2 weeks after he was born.
