Hello, I’m Melissa. I live in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. My husband just moved here from Cuba in August and now I am 8 weeks pregnant and this is our first pregnancy. Our due date is June 4, 2019. This pregnancy has been harder on me than I expected. I have “morning” sickness everyday, and recently just found out I have a hematoma - very scary. Just looking for some insight for probably everything. #myfirstpost

Welcome @ cookie_melissa. I live in Kitchener. I found drinking Canada dry worked for me in little sips though.

@cookie_melissa I posted here only once and it was due to "morning sickness" which literally lasted all day long without a break in between. Diclectin got me sleepy but didn't help. What REALLY helped was Gravol! It's safe to use. Easy to swallow. And I take one every night before bed and it holds me throughout the whole next day. I have tried all other natural food google said, didn't help. So, I know we're not all the same - but worth a try. It was the worst feeling in the world in my opinion!!

My doctor put me on diclectin because of morning (all day) sickness. It helped some. I also found keeping little snacks with me helped. I don't know how many almonds I ate in the beginning. Lol! Also for me, sipping ice water helped. Hope the sickness passes soon for you!

@cookie_melissa, eating chicken helps but honestly I recommend you to eat salted crackers or bread something small and simple every two hours eating large amount of food makes it worse also drinking apple juice helps too for me drinking water made things worse but sip on them don’t swallow large amounts either

@esterarias, did you find anything that helped your morning sickness? I have tried many things but it doesn’t seem to help much. I can’t wait to feel bad to normal. I can barely stomach any meals right now. Just snacks like fruits and veggies.
