So scared. 3 weeks ago I was in ER with difficulty breathing and rapid heart rate. They did CT scan to rule out pulmonary embolism instead they found a 3cm mass on my thymus gland and now I go next week to see a cardiothoracic surgeon in Burlington VT. My OB wants this to move faster than it is. Anyone ever had a similar scare. On bright side today I heard my little ones heart beat for the first time 💕

No personal experience but it sounds like it’s a thymoma. Looks like it’s easy to treat if caught in early stages. I’m reading that it’s rare for it to turn into cancer. I would opt to have it surgically removed ASAP. I’m surprised they let you wait a month to be seen. 🤔

Well it took me 2 weeks to see my primary and it's been a week since I've heard anything for an apt to go to Burlington I just heard today. The other concerning thing is they found a nodule in my lungs too so it's scary all around hopefully its nothing serious and an easy fix
