So I was just thinking about my labor experience and for some reason the belts they put on you to monitor your contractions and babies heart rate weren’t working very well so they had to stick two monitors up my vagina! Let me tell you my legs were shaking it hurt so bad. They also did a membrane sweep and broke the rest of my water. That was pretty painful as well. Have y’all ever had to have monitors inserted in you? I wonder why the belts didn’t work on me? 🤔

My labor ended up being lenghty. I also had those things inserted in me just to check on baby’s vitals as well as check how strong my contractions really were.
My daughter ended up having a red mark on her forhead as well as this weird mark on her leg 🙄
I am so glad of how things turned out and that i ended up getting an emergency csection. They told me i was getting close....
But my daughters head was not even close to passing my birth canal. &’ I had already been in labor for 29 hours. Completely wiped out that i was sleeping through my contractions 😂

i had to have that with my son, the monitors on my belly kept moving so they did them through the vagina. it didn’t really bother me.. but my son had alot of hair and it got stuck on his head!!

Yes it was the worst! I’m convinced that having to do that made it so much more painful because you’re just supposed to lay there. They wouldn’t let me get the epidural yet either. They also for some reason took forever to get me a catheter so I had to pee in a freaking bed pan because you aren’t allowed to get up. Ugh it was terrible.
This was with my labor for my son. With my daughters, I didn’t have to do any of that and it was sooooooo much better.
