Can someone please help me understand whether my 7week old baby sounding nasal (with no runny nose), and spitting up after every feed is normal.
I’m concerned that her spiting up and sometimes choking on her spit/vomit has somehow affected her respiratory system. She was not like this before. I took her to the pediatrician and they listened to her lungs and she seemed fine then.
I’m a FTM so I have no idea what to benchmark this off

Following! I've recently had this issue as well, just came back from the pediatrician and sounded fine too...

Reflux can cause the body to create more mucous. It over produces to coat the esophagus and airway to protect them from the acid. You won’t hear it in the lungs only upper airway.

My pedi said it’s from over feeding.. idk

Reflux, my son was like this from the day he was born. Make sure to keep them proped on an angle for at least 30mins after feedings and see your doctor to make sure its that and not something else, if it is reflux they have meds for it that help a great deal !
