🙅🏼‍♀️ nope. Kids do not belong as a part of dating life. Date, get to know someone, date longer, THEN introduce kids.

I agree with @laniejay, date him get to know him get to a place where there is actual trust and than date some more than when you know it’s going somewhere than introduce yourself to the kids.

@laniejay, to each their own! @bsuitor0049 sounds more like a fun play date than a full on date. I say go for it! You never know what it could lead to😊

I think it sounds like a great idea! How would you know if you got along with someone if you don’t spend time with them in their element. Being a dad is his life like being a mom is yours. Plus, the best relationships are built on friendship, so you might as well start there

@millies_mommy, you’re welcome 😁 I just don’t think that the early stages of dating should involve children. Not to mention the fact that you work, in some capacity, with his children and you yourself just had a baby. It’s just all around not a good idea and seems inappropriate but of course you’re an adult, even if barely, so you have the right to make your own decisions. Best of luck to you 👌🏽

@olivbee if they hadnt met through the kids I would agree with you. But I also feel like you shouldnt PUSH your opinion on somebody else and insult them because they dont feel the same way as you. Yoy want to state your opinion fine your entitled to it. But shes entitled to hers as well and doesnt need people making her feel like a peice of shit for it.

@ashtonndamon, did I push my opinion on or insult anyone though? 🤔 I stated MY opinion & in the same paragraph stated that she is an adult and can make her own decisions. I wouldn’t call that pushing and where was the insult?

@ashtonndamon, even if you’re easily insulted I don’t see how that’s insulting. “Even if barely” was meant literal- she is young, barely a legal adult, still a teenager in fact.
