My husband also brought a computer/tablet with him that entertained him while I slept before baby was born. Maybe even some drinks with the snacks too. We brought bottles of juice or soda. Water is free of course but the vending machine drinks add up.

Snacks, extra blanket and pillows. With my first born they had none available it was weird and I wished we brought some. My second pregnancy I brought a fleece blanket and it helped! Nipple cream, socks, chapstick

I would check to see what your hospital provides. You will need pads for yourself and diapers for baby if hospital doesn’t provide (mine does not). I’ve never formula fed but thought about it with my third and the hospital only provides whatever brand they are essentially sponsored with so if you have a preference def bring, if you are planning on breastfeeding don’t get formula and let them know NOT to supplement your baby as the first couple days are crucial. Also if your breastfeeding i recommend bringing breast pads as well lanolin and polysporin complete for cracked/bleeding/sore nipples.

Also the baby will attached to your boob for what feels like the entire time you’re there so make sure your shirts are stretchy enough to pull down so you’re not taking it off every 10 minutes. I like to wear a tank top and a robe that can be closed for when people visit.

Don’t bring a bottle, the hospital will have everything you would need in that situation. Trust me you don’t want to be washing your baby’s bottle in the hospital sink..

Hoapitals do typically provide premade formula you really shouldnt need the bottle but id also pack a few different outfits.. For my self i want one more i told my hubby next baby im packing a back scratcher because the epidural made me itchy and i couldnt really itch cuz i trim my nails often and he bites his so he couldnt itch me either i took slippers for me and a bathrobe just in case i ended up being there from Friday till Sunday due to blood loss not saying it will heppen to you

@lillynellasmom, @vilesalexis1995, agreed! Unless you’re in a situation like I was, I had a preemie & the sucking on a paci actually helped him adjust outside of the womb better. & he had no nipple confusion. But all babies are different and nipple confusion can happen, so just be aware ❤️

If you're going to try to breastfeed I would not take pacifier out since hospitals will have one also it's best to not give them a pacifier or bottle for the first month of breastfeeding because of nipple confusion or also trying to get them to latch will be harder.

@vilesalexis1995, i suggest trying first, keep your bottle at home and let the hospital provide you with the nursers if breast feeding doesn’t work for you. They have many of different brands and will help you decide which is best to start with baby! ☺️

Are you formula feeding? Cause I see bottle but no formula. & if you aren’t you don’t need a bottle. Also, 9/10 times you won’t need 0-3 m.. that’s for like 11lb plus babies lol. But I do suggest adding a couple more outfits of newborn. Easy ones, like sleep and plays, cause there will most likely be a security tag clamp on babies umbilical cord. Also save your wipes, and diapers. Hospitals provide that and even send you home with extras for baby. You’ll also want your own pillow from home. I advise using the hospitals mesh undies.. they’re fantastic! And soooo much blood after baby. Like more than any period you’ve ever had. I way overpacked for my hospital stay.. and it was the biggest annoyance since the rooms after delivery aren’t as big as L&D rooms.. they’re more like recovery rooms with an extra bed for partner. & the hospital won’t let you walk around without socks on usually.. so I went to target and got a couple out of fuzzy socks for myself. It was a life saver 😌

@vilesalexis1995 I'm not 100% sure they might you can call and ask I breastfed for the first 3 months so I didn't need formula.

For the baby I only took 3 outfits (going home and pictures since i didn't know how big she would be) the hospital provided blankets and diapers and wipes and you can take them home since the hospital will throw them out once opened. But if your formula feeding definatly take bottles and formula
