@megand15, haha ya probably better, you don’t want to give your kid too much moisture

megand15

......

@sms123 no, but should probably get one 😶

Sara

@megand15, do you have a humidifier monitor ?

megand15

......

@sms123 you can shut it off and only put it on at night if you want. I don't think it would cause mold or anything.

megand15

......

@sms123 we leave it going all the time, on the lowest setting

@megand15, hey so we bought the humidifier. How long should we leave it on daily? I wasn’t sure how much moisture is good for the baby’s room, thank you

@megand15, makes sense. My husband is stopping to buy it at Walmart today (humidifier) hoping it helps.

@sms123 hopefully it's just a stuffy nose from being dry. We lived in a 4plex my daughters first year of life. We were on the top floor so the hear from downstairs came up to us. It got so hot and dry in there. All of our noses were constantly plugged 😞😞

@megand15, ya I’ll buy one today we live in an apartment building and the heaters are on without our control and it probably gets dry for him. But not sure if he got a stuffy nose from a beginning of a cold or our apartment :( thank you

@sms123 I think we got ours at Wal-Mart for around $40. It's a game changer. Fall and winter are so dry. We have it going all the time in my daughters room. I think she likes the sound of it to help her sleep too lol

@tlistboom, I don’t have a humidifier. I just didn’t know if I should wait until it’s worse because he’s still so small.

@megand15, no I don’t have a humidifier. I’m not sure how much those cost. I’ll look into it. I’m using the drops. Seems to help

My kids are always stuffy .. no need to go to doctor yet unless there is a cough or major lack of breathing.

Get a nose frida .. and suck it out gently. If it's dried boogers, I drip a few drops of breast milk into nostrils and then suck out. It works wonders .. plus a humidifier is needed .. tis the season really.

Do you have a humidifier going? My daughter always has a stuffy nose, and it's worse if we don't have a humidifier going in her room. We also put saline drops in her nose sometimes. I think they'd be safe on a baby that small, but you should call health link just to be safe
