Last night was our first night home and it's going so terrible. She won't sleep and wants to constantly be on the boob but acts like she doesn't want it when I offer it. I'm so tired. I'm starting to wonder if she's not getting anything
Is she getting wet diapers? Keep trying to put her to the breast while doing skin to skin. Also are you cosleeping?
Have you tried to make sure she isn't having a gas build up, or showing signs of reflux? My second girl did the same for a bit. It turned out reflux was scalding her throat so while she was hungry it caused her pain to eat
I would call doctor to check. She may not being getting enough.
@mariapb, this is generally good advice, but if she thinks baby is not eating, it is not. We had an issue where baby was burning more calories trying to eat than she was getting and it can be dangerous. I always say trust your gut and don’t be shy to seek medical help. Not trying to rag on your advice though 💕- I just don’t want a mama put in a bad situation. At the same time, I don’t want to scare her! :)
Your milk will just be starting to come in. Try not to pump at this stage because it can cause an oversupply. The first few weeks are truly awful when breastfeeding as your body works to regulate your supply but I promise it gets easier. Put baby to the breast as often as you can to help your supply. Also look up the fourth trimester, it’s really helpful information.
Pump and let your husband take a shift. We did this with 1 feeding a night and it saved my sanity. If you don’t get any out, still pump, but mix the bottle with formula. It’s not the end of the world. 💕—- this is coming from someone who still breastfeeds her almost 3 year old while 9 months pregnant. My milk took a long time to fully come in.
But you can also make an appt or call a lactation consultant . They can help you out!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
@jaygirlsmommy she is getting wet diapers and I was trying not to cosleep. Husband and I had been up all night talking turns. I finally got her to sleep
