How many weeks were you when you told your parents you are pregnant, how did you tell them, And what was their response?

@lrodgers28, Awwww that sounds sooo familiar girl! My mom wanted me to work, go to school, not stay home & has always been so judgmental. I’m a stay at home mom & this is what works for us. My husband works hard & he rather me stay home but she doesn’t get it. Which I hate because she doesn’t pay our bills or anything! I’ve never been one to just leave my son with her or not care for him. I’ve done it all since he was born with my husband by my side so I don’t get her. A part of me feels like she may feel some jealousy because when I was born she worked & my dad didn’t help her at all. & my mom has noticed me gain some weight & she’s talked behind my back saying how I need to take care of myself or else my husband will leave me. So yeah girl I’m dreading telling her :/

@mommysince2014, I completely understand. I will be 14 weeks on Tuesday and I haven’t told mine either. My boyfriend’s family knows and their cool with it but I’m not looking forward to telling mine. They want me to be married and have a college degree before having another baby. We’re excited about our baby and I just don’t want to hear the negative comments and see the negative facial expressions. I see my mom every day and I’m showing but she hasn’t asked me anything yet and I will see my dad this weekend so he’ll probably say something.

Right after I peed on the stick. 4 weeks.

I haven’t told my mom yet. My in laws know, & friends & they were all excited!! but I have been struggling to tell my mom & this is my second pregnancy! She is very judgmental about me being a stay at home mom & doesn’t agree with me staying home & taking care of my kids (she never did it or raised me) but she judges me so I’m not ready to here her comments.

I told them after my first appointment when we new everything was good. And they where happy I was like 6 weeks or so
