I need some serious help with this! Thursday night my little was diagnosed with HFM. Friday morning, all through the weekend, and now today she has been 10”% fine! No fever, no rash, eating drinking and playing the same as usual, hasn’t needed any meds cause she hasn’t even seemed like she felt the tiny bit bad. Did we just get super lucky or did they possibly misdiagnose her or something? I’m really confused cause I was prepared for a hellacious few days and stocked up on Lysol and ice cream and Powerade for her and everything thinking it was about to be really rough... I’m still cleaning with Lysol and monitoring her just in case but it’s just not what I expected. Anyone else have this issue?

My son had a very mild case of it. He had a fever for maybe 2 hours total, the rash was there for a couple of days but didn’t seem to bother him a bit, and he ate/drank like normal. Sounds like your daughter has a mild case.

Hmm 🤔 but no rash? That’s strange... but not unheard of!

@ek620, yeah the rash part is what threw me off the most. The doctor said that she saw blisters in the back of her throat but I figured they would’ve spread to at least the outside of her mouth or more on the inside where I’d see them when she opened her mouth wide enough but I don’t see anything anywhere 🤔 it’s confused me so much 😂😂😂
