Ryan and I decided we aren’t telling what we will be naming this little lady. We feel as though no matter what name we choose family on both sides will have something to say about the name we choose. So she’ll be going by Baby S until she makes her appearance. 💕
That’s a good plan. We told for our daughter and everyone liked it. Our son we didn’t say until he was born, this time we told again and all of a sudden everyone and their mom has an opinion. And it’s a damn family name. Wish we wouldn’t of said anything.
@brownsugarluv, lame asses. 😒
I’m actually really glad hubby thought it was such a good idea. He was really siked about it.
@santistevanmommie, girl, I’ve had a name taken before we gave birth. And again after I had my first daughter (2nd baby). My daughter’s name is Arianna. They spell it Arriana 🙄
Unoriginal punks love to steal shit lol
@blackcanary91, see I felt the same way! My family kept trying to sway my opinion to change it and I just kept telling them no it was set.
@brownsugarluv, this is my biggest thing! People say you should take it as a compliment but I don’t. It’s unoriginal to steal someone else’s name idea.
@laniejay, I LOVE the name calliope. I was trying to sell hubby on it. Not gonna lie, I’ve loved it since Cali on greys said her name was actually Calliope. I do wish he’d do for it.
No harm in it, we ended up wishing we would have waited. My husband's mom and sister hated the name we chose prior to her arriving, now they dont mind and have embraced it but it was still hurtful and a bit frustrating at the time.
I never share before baby is born. I’ve had people steal it.
We didn’t announce names with out littles until they were born. Not even our “maybe” list. We made up ridiculous names and used those. Rufus and Calliope. (Problem is we ended up thinking Calliope was cute 😬)
It made it fun imo. We know so much before they’re born- gender, looks, size estimates, due dates, etc. it was fun having a secret and also having something people were looking forward to when they were here. Plus people are less likely to make comments about names after they’re here.
@santistevanmommie aw thank you and yes I agree its your opinion that matters
@red_carr, I agree. It’s upsetting when they don’t.
I think your girls’ names fit them well. And as long as you love them that’s what matters. ❤️
@santistevanmommie that's completely understandable. Family should always support the name you choose
@bodybycheetos, we have a list lol and we may tell them that but not the names on the list. 😂 they’ll be salty but I don’t care.
@red_carr, no one liked caleighas name until she was born. We got so much shit for it. ESPECIALLY the middle name we choose to go with for her.
We choose some really unique and different names this time around and I know they’ll have nothing but shit to say. Since Ryan is already kinda struggling with her being a girl I don’t need anything extra adding to it. I want him to fall in love with a name for her and not feel like it’s wrong.
That's the way to do it 😂 the only people we told was two of my aunt's, and that's only because they called me out when I said we didn't have name ideas 😂
My mom didn't like hazels Name and my mil didn't like autumns name 🤷🏼 lol
What is your first name?
We all know our baby's name but what is your first name? I want to know you ladies a little better ?
if your toddler chose breakfast
What would they choose?
@santistevanmommie we told our family the same
