I had a c section before so I am wonder is it possible to have a natural successful vaginal birth ?
I had a c section, but I healed really really well and my son was 10 months when I found I was pregnant again. My doctors said I could try a VBAC, but they encouraged a repeat c-section so that’s what I did. It’s really up to you and your doctor.
@bj1605, If your Dr. is on board then go for it! Trust me, it’s worth the try! Recovery after a csection is hell. But, once you deliver after a natural birth, yeah you’re a little sore but nothing compared to having surgery. I didn’t tear either. I labored for over 30+ hours with my son and ended up with the emergency csection as well😢.
@mommajules, yeah my doctor wants me to try natural and see if I can do it again because I was so close with my son but his heart just keep dropping so I had no choice to get a emergency c section
Girl, you just have to find the right Dr. I got pregnant 7 months after my c-section and was also induced. Successful vbac after 17months! It’s possible, you just need to find the right support system!
@mama.kay, my son is one year old and by the time I give birth my son is going to be one and half
I had an emergency csection with my daughter, was told to wait 18 months before getting pregnant again to have a vaginal birth. It’s totally possible to have a vbac, just make sure your doctor is on board with it, some hospitals don’t do vbacs. Mine does, and because I plan to have a vbac with my next their big stipulation is I have to go into labor on my own, they will not induce a woman that has had a csection. My biggest piece of advice, write down all your questions and concerns and talk to your doctor! That’s what I did and I’m not even pregnant yet lol
My doctor told me no Vbac unless it’s been enough time since the previous c section site is completely healed. Since it can blow out during a vaginal. So I would ask your doc since it’s only been a year. My son is 4 months, and I’m pregnant, my doctor told me no vbac
@sleepymommy, yeah that I know for sure so if I get induced I know I would get a c section but if I go into labor by myself it’s a 50/50 percent chance I can have a vaginal birth but I am just wondering would it hurt a lot
@bj1605 that's because being induced makes labor harder and can cause yout uterus to rupture so they will just give you a c section instead
@sleepymommy, by the time I give birth my son would be a year old and 5 month so my doctor said I can try natural the only thing if I get induced I am going to get another c section
@ladyblauvelt, my doctor doesn’t want me to get another c section I got an emergency c section because my son heart drop , but I just wanted to know if it’s harder and had anyone experience it . I got induced because my blood pressure I went through with everything and last min I had no choice but to get the c section . My blood pressure has been good so far so hoping I go into labor by myself instead of getting induced
@ladyblauvelt she's 22weeks and had a 1 year old. She woulda had to have gotten pregnant after her son turned 1 to be 100% eligible but by her weeks shown she got pregnant before he turned 1.
@sleepymommy I thought you were fine if you waited at least a year to get pregnant again
@ladyblauvelt because she got pregnant before a year her body was still healing when she got pregnant c sections Are hard on your body but vaginal births are even harder when your body hasn't fully healed.
@bj1605 probably not you got pregnant before a year so your body was still healing. Now if you got pregnant after a year it might be more likely c section is a major surgery your body is supposed to completely heal from before carrying another child
And idk why they said you couldn't be induced and go naturally... That's what they were going to do for me if mine didn't come on his own
Yes it is possible to have a vbac as long as your doctor doesn't think it's medically necessary to have another csection

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
Honestly when I had my vbac, I was in more pain than I was after my csection but I think it's just because I tore a couple times and everything down there was just very uncomfortable for a while.
