My son got really bad diaper rash all of a sudden. He’s never had it before. I haven’t changed diapers or wipes and I change him very often. I don’t know what could of caused this. He’s in so much pain
Do y'all think that dad's should change poopy diapers just like mom's? My husband never changes a poopy diaper it kinda is starting to make me mad lol I think it's only fair! I mean yes it's gross and poop is nasty but it's not going to kill you!
if I am having a girl I am nervous about changing her diaper , I have never changed a little girl's diaper before lol
Many will disagree with me, but I think changing tables are absolutely pointless. I never once used one with either of my girls and didn't buy one for our baby on the way. I always changed my girls diapers wherever we are...couch, bed, etc. I always have a basket in the main living areas with the diapering essentials. Works great!!
So we are at my mother in laws and she tells my husband to give her wipes so she can change the baby, and I said I can change my kids diaper I don't need her to to do it, so of course my husband just gives her the wipes and she changes arias diaper! Ok so then she disappears with my baby whatever,, and I get home and change arid diaper and she has a diaper on that's not hers, and it's to big, and i ask my husband where did this diaper come from and he says idk she went and changed her that time when she walked out of the room,! So she snuck off to change my babies diaper!! Wtf her diaper bag is in the living room and she was in the living room, but she snuck off to change her diaper, wtf! I'm probably going to end up killing this lady!! Before aria turns 18
My baby girl is a week old today. I had some tell me that I needed to stop changing her diaper so much... She has a bad habit of pooping right after I change her diaper (therefore I change it again because I don't want a diaper rash to have to doctor)... They told me to stop changing her as much and let it build up a little before changing the diaper out. In my opinion, that would be really uncomfortable for Piper... Opinions??

My baby does too her dad can't smell and i sleep during the day. I woke up and she was fussy needed changing i seen the worst diaper rash airing it out away the moment

I would rinse every day until it starts getting better. Hopefully it doesn't take more than a few days.

@jessig2006, yes I have introduced new foods. I’ve been changing him way more often now because last night he woke up screaming out of nowhere and I think his butt hurt cuz I changed him put so so so much butt paste and he started to calm down, it was so sad. Should I rinse him off in the tub everyday? Or like every other day?

@briannalynn547, yes, thinking about it he does have a lot of wet poops but I didn’t know that could cause it cuz I clean him up right away it’s not like he sits in it for hours. I feel like I should just put butt cream on him after every time he poops now just Incase

It may have been something he ate? Did you introduce any new foods? Make sure to put on a nice thick layer of butt cream. It will probably not feel great for him at first but there isn't to much else you can do about it. Give him a quick rinse off in the tub or sink to get whatever it is fully off his skin.

Is he having a lot of wet poop? That could cause it .

Maybe something that he ate
