What do you guys think helps your milk production? Food..drinks anything!
I don’t eat or drink anything special just lots of water like @sam.moms5 and putting baby to breast every time . This way it Tell your body to produce more milk
Oatmeal! No joke. I'd eat oatmeal for breakfast with some fruit when. I started out breastfeeding and omg. My breasts hurt they'd get full so fast.
Dont worry, sounds like youre doing great already. Your supply will be indicated by baby making plenty of diapers and also general demeanor. If shes content and making diapers then that's a good sign things are going well.
@kambam, okay thank you hopefully everything works out. I just get nervous I’m not supplying as much as I should
You shouldn't need anything yet! I wouldn't recommend until you adjust by 3m. But theres moringa, goats rue, nettle, shatavari.
Long as youre eating and drinking enough and keeping baby on breast as much as possible, your supply will do great
Look for foods with beta-glucan it’s soluble dietary fiber used to promote better cholesterol and heart health.
Water and fibers - like oatmeal, barley, bran, wheat.
The key is slowing down digestion with high fiber producing longer lasting food, gut health while boosting blood flow to the heart and ultimately a supply of food in the form of breast milk and healthy production and flow within the breasts.
