You can get 8 in memory foam mattress for 250 and I got the frame for 200 on wamart.com . I get an associate discount so it may be like 10 or so dollars more but it's not bad then I'm sure you could find a cheap box spring somewhere. I didn't price them cause thats the only thing we still had that was good.

I bought a king eurotop from Wal-Mart (online)a couple of years ago. That bed😍😍😍😍. No one comes in my house without heading to my bedroom😂. 12 inch mattress for less than $300 and it's been super durable. They do have cheaper options for less inches.

Amazon. Paid about 420 for both but there were cheaper ones. I just wanted a deep 12 in mattress and headboard bed but there’s some with no headboard and mattresses under 200

What we usually do is go to furniture stores and look in the clearance section. Or wait until a big holiday sale.
