How often did everyone else New born breast feed?? I’m getting discouraged Zuri only likes my right breast and she feeds like every 5 hours for 30 mins or so instead of every two hours she just doesn’t want it.. anyone else experience this??

Are you still in the hospital? Talk to the nurse, if not, call the doctor. We had to supplement at first. Breastfeeding is awesome but our little one was burning too many calories trying to nurse- my milk wasn’t fully in. I would breastfeed then supplement. We were in the hospital though and had a lot of guidance. If your milk is in, try pumping in between and then feed her that breast milk in a cycle, so she gets fed every 2 hrs. It might be easier for her to just drink it from a bottle.
I make my new born feed every 2-3 hours. If mine doesn’t feel like feeding I change his diaper even if he doesn’t need it. Thats enough to wake him to feed. Also you can try skin to skin feeding to try to wake her.
Is she slightly jaundiced? There is breast feeding jaundice which made mine sluggish. So just curious
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

when my baby was a newborn she only fed on my right breast every 4-5 hours. Lactation nurse first told me to wake her but when I did she didn’t want to eat. I let it ride and now she eats every 2-3 hours.
Your right breast probably has more milk than the left so it’s easier to feed from that side.. that’s what was happening to me.
