Early on in my pregnancy, I had gotten a metallic taste in my mouth for a lot of things, but also greatly reduced my coffee intake (creamers with coffee—I’m a sugar-a-holic). I just ate sweet but healthy things like apples, and sipped on ginger ale...

I didn’t have it for ALL food though, from what I remember just certain ones. And I don’t remember it lasting that long...

@nomli i made some pork chops the other night the same way I usually do & for some reason they tasted like meatloaf to me. Couldn't eat it bc it was so weird but my husband ate it & said it was good to him. I also had some BK for lunch yesterday that was disgusting & I LOVE a good whopper. I also picked some pineapple chunks for my lunch today & they looked SO good. Tasted horrible. Sweet but kind of funky. & a couple other foods that I usually love & I am NOT a picky eater 😂😭

Yeah, we had gone out to lunch with family and my food arrived and I couldn’t take more than a bite. Just looking at it made me queasy. That was a Monday and my period was due Friday. My appetite was off that whole week. I got a positive test Friday evening.

@nomli maybe that's what it is for me too then. I'm 9 days late & haven't been enjoying food for like 4 or 4 days now.

I had food aversions about 5 days before my period.
