Is there anywhere else I can choose a breast pump I have Medicaid & basically she said we sent a paper to your doctor and just need it signed then faxed back and will send you your pump..she said it like I didn’t have a option on the pump I was going to receive and that rubbed me the wrong way because my last pump I got did not work well enough to maintain my supply to return to work and ultimately was the reason I quit at 4months.

From my understanding you don't they send You what they send you.

Yes u can choose whatever pump you like I went with this company then theres the aeroflow one

@lilstewartsmom, I had a choice last time I’ll have to see how it works , see there are about 5 pumps all covered under Medicaid & last time I just took a literally prescription type paper to a medical store and all they had was the medela which kinda sucked so I’ll have to look into it.

@alyboo102293 I received my SpectraS2 2wks ago super excited to try it!! I've heard wonderful things about it hope you get one soon !! I've had the Medela and its strength isnt grand

Aeroflow will give you the same options that your insurance will, thats what they go off of
In 2015 with the insurance I had I only qualified for a free manual pump. This time I had options. It all depends on your insurance

In 2016, my insurance only covered one specific pump and it was awful. This time around with different insurance, I qualified for the spectra. Long story short, it depends on your insurance. I did go through edgepark and got it within a week, so if your insurance covers something else you could try there!

Maybe I should look into this, I was going to buy one but if I can get my insurance to pay for one maybe it's worth looking into.
