Need to vent....last week my ex and I got into a very heated argument and cops were called (i called because i just wanted him to leave and stated that) unfortunately he was arrested, released next day and no charges or anything were filed. It will be dismissed when we goto court. Now of course I’m the bad guy because I called them, despite everything that went down. Even lying to people saying I called them and lied saying he hit me. Of course his family and some friends are mad at me regardless of what happened that night i shouldn’t have called. I’m so hurt, sad, angry...I have no idea how to handle all this 😞

Hey girl I'm going through the same stuff except my bd was on parole and the police was called last year and the charges was dropped and now he locked up cuz he tested dirty but his family is blaming me and want nothing to do with my baby and he telling them the reason he locked up. Thanks ladies. It just bothers me that he’s telling people I lied and said he hit me. We both were in the wrong because the argument wouldn’t end. But of course it’s all my fault regardless what happened because I called the cops on a black man in 2018 😔
You are not in the wrong. There were a lot of occasions I should have called on my ex (before we had kids). I didn’t because “I loved him” and whatnot but truth is it’s better to document incidents like this. I wish I had a paper trail so if we ever go to court for custody or anything, there’s proof he’s unstable. I’m glad you’re safe and you stood up for yourself.
Yeah, I've been there. You just need to reaffirm that his behavior was not okay and agree that the police should never have been involved and they wouldn't have, had everything been peaceful and handled in a mature way. now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
