Is it worth getting dreft etc for laundry? I'm thinking about buying it so I can do her laundry when I'm closer to my due date but idk if it's a necessity? I'm just worried because I guess I had extremely sensitive skin as a baby.. what do you mommas do?

My kids have eczema so I use all free and clear for the entire family.

I just use all free and clear , or anything free and clear on all our stuff . I don’t see a reason to buy a seperate detergent . Dreft is also more expensive .
Leah·
Free and clear is better and usually cheaper. Dreft is still scented so if your baby has sensitive skin they could have a reaction to it.

I used a green detergent. Biokleen on amazon.

@cams @momofemersonbliss @leahkay I looked up free and clear detergent and it's in all brands? There isnt a special brand to get? I'm sorry I sound dumb I've been doing my laundry with the same detergent and softener for the past 3 years lmao and it's not free&clear so..

@kendrav, there’s All, Tide , Downy , Persil . So many different brands
Emerson’s Momma 💜·
@kendrav, I switch between tide and all for detergent and use downy free and clear fabric softener .

I use All Free and Clear and Borax (a detergent booster) for all laundry, and dry with unscented dryer sheets. No one has had any issues in our household.

I use free and clear by seventh generation. I noticed my baby was breaking out with dreft, after just using a free sample. Haven't gone back since noticing her sensitivity has cleared up since using free and clear. She had rashes and acne looking spots with anything else :(

I use tide free and clear for the little ones. They have sensitive skin.

I don’t initially change my detergent unless baby has a reaction then I will use something else

I use all baby. It smells better than dreft in my opinion. I love it.

I used tide or any regular detergent & it was perfectly fine. I just feel like they make all these "baby" stuff to spend money, I feel it's not worth it unless your baby for some reason has an allergy to the detergent.

I used arm and hammer and never had a problem . This time I’m going to use persil because I love there fresh scents . To me it depends on your baby you don’t have to use baby detergent unless you know your baby really has sensitive skin .
