Sell things around your house for gas money.

Get another job within walking distance. And take the bus to the appointment.

Call and ask a friend or family member if they can take you if you live near them. If your son has Medicaid, call and ask for a transport to his appointment.

@goingbacktobed, no, we just moved three hours away from my family and friends and my husbands family said that can’t help

@taymw11, Yes, @queenmeeks, is correct! Medicaid will transport their patients to their appointments. I believe it is a free service. Not certain on that though.

Do you guys have a budget plan? Take out the necessary amount of money for gas every week, and put it aside.

@taymw11, go ahead and call today because normally they ask you set up 48 hours in advance but will accommodate if anyone is available when you are requesting a pick up

Ask someone to borrow for gas

Or ask a close friend for a ride

@taymw11, Oh I thought you were just completely out and couldn’t get anywhere to get gas. I try not to assume people have no money because I feel it maybe rude to them but I’m sorry times are tough I completely understand me and my husband have been having a hard time as well.

@roses702, he had a steady job but thought he found a better opportunity and took it. Well that company screwed him over by not telling him they only needed him for a week. So he’s been in between jobs and just starting a new steady one tomorrow
