I put some apple cider vinegar into an empty pop bottle and set the bottle next to the area I noticed them. Holy shit I never would of guessed I had THAT MANY in my home!

I also bag and cover all our fruit we leave on the counter.

Apple cider vinegar in a small bowl with a few drops of dawn soap the sweet smell will draw them to it they will drown works wonders.

The way they took over my kitchen... I was thinking of burning the house down to have an excuse to rebuild🤨

When we got over ran by them I cleaned with bleach, and poured a small amount of bleach in the drains and about a day later they were gone..

Ugh as soon as I get bananas a get these too 😒

@amandamduval, I hope they leave during the winter time😭 all my fruit is in the fridge now and I hate cold fruit!

In a small cup, put a squirt of dawn dish soap and a little bit of apple cider vinegar, put in the microwave for 15 seconds, cover with a plastic cover (I use a sandwich bag) and secure with a rubber band. Poke holes in the top. Sit somewhere with a lot of fruit flies. I put mine by my fruit holder, the trash can and my wet bag for dirty diapers. You will be FLOORED at how many it will catch.
