@danpabs5 i know i wish could of carried on but she wud latch at times but was two sucks n off and so on or just fell sleep and got to point she was attached to me all day and i didn't sleep for 3 days so defo glad switched before ended in hospital as she was so dehydrated x but since formula she seems a total different baby x

@lauren_h youre doing your best and that's all you can do so how you feed your baby is irrelevant. And it's clearly working because she's gaining weight.. She's beautiful x

@raerae2018 Defo just wish knew sooner to get sorted quicker but glad sorted now and happy i tried breastfeeding x

@lauren_h any food is good food so if you choose to use formula and it works for you keeps baby fed and does the job that's all that matters she's eating that's all that's important so you do whatever you feel is right for your baby girl x

@raerae2018 no tongue tie or anything like that and I've tired express but could only express 3oz which took 4 hrs and she went from 5lb2 at birtj to 5lb1 stayed that for 3 weeks switched to formula and in 4 days 5lb 5 x

Is she tongue tied? My son has a really bad tie and he couldnt latch either so I express milk for him now and formula feed through the night it really helped with the formula he was born 6lb3 went down to 5lb11 now in two days he's 6lb8 so it's definitely worth it if she isn't latching well

@lauren_h, oh, i see. You could put your breastfeeding in order, it would take some time and efforts ofc. I believe that mums milk is best food, medicine, pacifier and etc for a baby 😇 And first month is really the hardest one for mum.

@k.mehri.blc totally switch as she wasnt latching how she shud and latched on for 2 mins came off n fell asleep so was attached to me 24 hra a day n since switched shes totally fine now

Did you add formula or totally switched to? Generally babies don’t gain weight during first month, and even lose.
