Making homemade chicken noodle soup tonight. Gonna start boiling the chicken to make the broth then add in my carrots…

@fishinamanda do it like how I make mine. Buy boneless skinless chicken breast put it in a pot and add water so the chicken is covered add a tblsp and a half of salt to the water to give it flavor when the water is made into chicken stock. Once the water starts to boil keep it boiling for an hour and 20 minutes. Once the chicken is cooked take it out put it in a big separate bowl to cool. And depending on how much soup ya wanna make add 2-3 boxes of store bought chicken broth to your homemade chicken stock. Add a small bag of frozen chopped(white) onions ( I buy mine at Walmart) then chop up some fresh celery I use a whole bag of celery. Add the celery to the chicken stock cook for about an hour so the celery gets tender. When that cooks you can either chop your chicken into chunks or you can shred it. Add your chicken to your soup. And if you want carrots I usually use 2 cans of sliced carrots after the celery and Everything is cooked.if you don't want to use canned you can use fresh carrots and just add them to your stock when you put the celery in to cook. After it's all cooked you can cook whatever noodles you want. And enjoy.
