I waited until my son was about 16 months. I started by cutting off his afternoon feedings. The time that he would usually nurse I would give him food instead or distract him. I started getting him used to taking naps without being on the boob. After about a week he stopped asking for it in the afternoon so I cut off his morning time. I waited till he adjusted again. And then for the night time since he was so used to falling asleep on the boob that was the hardest. I would rock him to sleep or play lullaby music. And when he woke up through the night I’d play the music again or I’d have to get up and rock him back to sleep

I honestly feel that the night time was the hardest to wean him off. It’s difficult getting them to readjust. But by the third week he just stopped asking for it all together. I would give him the toddler enfamil during the day instead of the boob too
