It started bothering my bf how everyone says my son is very small for his age, and now it’s starting to bother me.
He isn’t a chunky baby, he’s just long with a big head rn lol We feel like he’s huge now compared.. idk
But everywhere we go someone says it 🤦♀️

Just take it with a grain of salt. Some babies are tiny, some babies are big. I'm sure they don't mean anything by it and as annoying as it is try not to take it personally.
The size babies are has no correlation on the size they'll be as adults anyways. 🤷🏼♀️

Just let it go in one ear and out the other! My son has always been tiny and still is at 4 years old compared to other kids his age, every kid is different. I completely get how annoying it is though 😩

People honestly just have no clue. Like - what are they comparing to? Do they actually KNOW? Probably not. Kiddo's doctor knows. Listen to him/her and ignore the rest. People want to think they know everything.

@leowifey, exactly what I was thinking! I feel like if u saw my son everyday u wouldn’t think he’s tiny, I’ve seen how much he’s grown.. and I don’t understand how they compare baby size? I always say well he’s a very long baby, he’s doctors always tell me he’s gonna be tall. @michellemybell09, yes it just gets annoying and so true! He’s 4 month check is coming and I can’t wait to see how big he is bc we notice how much bigger he’s gotten, he feels huge to us now lol 😍

That’s how percentiles work. Some kid has to be the 2% and some kid is the 98%. But if they are steadily growing and the pedi isn’t concerned, I wouldn’t be either! Adults come in various sizes too.
