If I don’t go into labor this weekend . The doctor said I would have to do a non stress test . Could someone give me details about this please .

No problem, We’re both in the same boat with babies that are getting too cozy in our stomachs and don’t want to come out lol
I just got one done today, They just monitor the baby’s heartbeat and your belly for contractions. They also track baby’s movements. It’s cozy to me because you get to relax for a second while listening to the baby’s heartbeat ❤️
It monitors contractions to heartbeat. They strap it on for like 20-30 min and then you’re good to go. I got them done everyday the last month and a half before I had him (but I was hospitalized). Nothing to freak about. If it happens to fall they do a biophysical profile ultrasound
@jacobsmom, no it’s definitely normal , but they do it to monitor baby and make sure baby is moving and heart rate is ok . Nothing to be scared about .

Show if you’re having contractions and checks to make sure baby’s heart rate is fluctuating as it should .
