Someone please help me calm down. Did any of you have braxton hicks as early as 19w? I never had these with my son I thought I was feeling the baby stretch these past 2 weeks but its getting stronger. So strong that I have to hold my breath. Five times today now and the last one that just happened was so intense it scared me because it made me realize it was a damn contraction. I called the on call OB and she said that relax drink lots of water if it happens again to come to the ER. If not I am to see my OB in the morning. I am so scared right now, she said its a little early for braxton hicks but its not unheard of, trying to stay calm but it feels impossible.

@nervousmommyca I experienced this with my second pregnancy. I even thought my daughter would come earlier because of it but she didn't and everything turned out fine.

Omg!!! Me I’ve been having contractions this pregnancy since about 15 weeks. I am contracting but not dilating so my hospital isn’t doing anything to stop them. And they get really painful. You’re the first person I know of going through something similar to me. All the doctors keep brushing me off but I’m so frustrated being in pain like this.

@nervousmommyca, i hope you’re okay. This never happened with my boys either. This time I’m pregnant with a girl but I’m sure the gender isn’t the reason. They told me it was because I was dehydrated and I’ve been drinking tons of water and nothings working. I think I’m just going to have to deal with it 😪. Where are you btw? It’s 12:30 in NYC

I had them this pregnancy since 14 weeks . At first they was here and there by week 20 I was having them through out the day and now at 32 weeks I can’t catch a break !! I have them when walking laying sitting nothing eases them they went from being uncomfy to now that plus painful !! I’m high risk and I’ve been telling my doctors they don’t seem concerned since this is baby number 3 they said everything happens faster and would be more intense . So I just breathe through them allll day I can’t tell you how many I have i know for sure it’s more than I can count on my 2 hands that’s for sure

I’m so happy to hear someone else has been going through this 😳 I started getting more intense then just uterus stretching and was wondering if it could be Braxton Hicks already. 😬

@chasinghappiness, i stayed up to see if it would happen again but i fell asleep. Im in CA. Its a girl for me this time too, so weird. I'll be calling my ob when they open for sure

@prestonjeanetta0120, that makes sense thank you, it was so scary they kept getting stronger so I called but i fell asleep after so I dont know if there were anymore
Christy·
@babybirdboss-mom, can stress really bring them on? We were watching boring tv and i was just lazing on the couch. Also I had over 5 bottles of water 16 oz each so I got really scared
Christy·
@kasey.m, its like real contractions without pain for me, its freaky, the last one scared me it was so intense so im going to call my ob when they open to have them check everything just to be safe

@nervousmommyca from what I know Braxton Hicks is where your body is tricking you thinking your having contractions but really it's just giving you the pain of it and being stressed out can trigger it or even over worked
