Can someone explain the whole “membranes stripped” thing to me?

@gabby_235, i had mine stripped Tuesday. I lost my mucus plug yesterday and have been super uncomfortable since. I’m being induced the 22 as well. I’m ready for either natural labor or that day to hurry!
@mommy21angel, I really hope my baby comes on his own then 😕
I regretted having that done. Hurt so bad and after for the next day I had very painful contractions and lost my entire mucus plug. But that was it, i still ended up needing to be induced at 39 weeks didn't work for me.
@sahmplustwo_., oh no! 😩 my OB said we’ll talk about that next appointment before getting induced the 22nd. I’ve been stuck at 2cm for 2 weeks now and I’m 38 weeks!
It hurts like HELL! & isn’t 100% effective to work.
From my understanding it’s where they separate the sac from your uterus near your cervix.
