Any Tips on how to get a 15month old to sleep thru the night ?? My daughter still wakes up screaming 3 or 4 times a night for a bottle. Plus being pregnant again I'm beyond exhausted and can feel it in my body:(
My son still wake up once or twice a night for "cup"... we discovered he didn't really wanna drink it he just wants to hold it. We started just giving him an empty sippy cup to cuddle with. My step son is the same he just likes to sleep with his cup doesn't care if its empty or full.
Same as previous person. Our ped told us at his 9m appt he didn’t need milk at night anymore, it was just comfort. He suggested offering an oz of water. She probably won’t want that and will slowly learn that she won’t be getting milk at night anymore. Plus milk at night can be bad if she’s drinking it and falling asleep because it can pool in the mouth causing the sugar to eat away at the teeth.
We stopped giving bottles in the middle of the night at 6 months per my son's doctor's recommendation. After 6 months they don't need it anymore. She's just comfort feeding. Don't offer the bottle and don't pick her up.
@ladyblauvelt I've tried that but when I pick her up or try rubbing her back she wants to get up and play. She doesnt like to cuddle or to be rocked she's very independent. If I give her a bottle she goes right back to sleep it's just exhausting getting up every 2 hrs
Whenever she wakes up for a bottle don't give her one. Just go in her room, pick her up and soothe her and rock her back to sleep. Evebtually she'll realize she doesn't really need the bottle at night and she'll sleep instead
