@fishinamanda, lol I hate anything milk but you know what I figured I’d take cheese over insulin any day lol

@joannekk88, try eating some string cheese before bed. That’s how I manage mine. 140 is kind of high they’ll want you under 120 usually

@fishinamanda, at 6am they are anywhere’s between 109 and 116 but when I check it last at 8:30-9pm they are 96-112 and then an hour later I take the insulin for bed. She said it’s okay even if I don’t go to bed until 11-12

@raqueliiosiis, she told me to only take it at night because it’s sugar levels are rising while I sleep .. she wants it that when I wake up it’s under 90 and it’s still 110 and in the afternoon and throughout the day under 140 and it’s always under 120 just issue when I wake up.. they had me stop taking metformin and now I use insulin pen

I’m on fast and slow acting in the morning and at night. It usually depends on what I eat what my levels are. What are your morning numbers?

I also eat string cheese at night like 3 pieces my dr says eating protein before going to bed so your body has that to process and you wont spike during the night.

Yes you can drink water. But that’s weird. I take two types of insulin the long lasting and the fast acting. I was told to take it first thing in the morning before breakfast and check my levels once I got up. So in my case I check at 6-630 and I take my insulin at 8am then I’ll eat breakfast. Are you taking insulin at night? I take one shot in the morning with both mixed and then one at night before dinner also mixed. My morning numbers are usually 74-88
