I totally understand you !!! I was the same way with my first child he left when I was 6months and my daughter never even met him and she is 8 now I even kept the same phone number for 7 yrs thinking he would call to ask if we are ok :( but now I met a great guy who calls,my daughter his he said there is No separation from her and him he is her dad and doesn't care what others think. She calls him daddy and we added a sister in the mix who my daughter trully always wanted because she was an only child:) keep your head up there are good men out there !!!!

This was right on time I swear! I left my kids dad when I was 12 weeks pregnant with our son and all I do is cry when I look at him and my daughter because I know they deserve so much better...and he just ain’t it!! Their own dad...ain’t the one to show them how to ride a bike...or see them off on their first day of school...

We got this I'm single mom too my daughter is 8months and have done it since day 1 I found out I was pregnant after me and her dad split we can do this yes things get tough but have to hold your head high and know you got this

It gets easier I promise! I knew I was going to be a single mother from the beginning of my pregnancy so I guess it was easier to prepare myself. But nothing can prepare you for what real life is like after a newborn. My son is now 3, will be 4 in February and I promise you everything you’re going through and will go through IS WORTH EVERY TEAR!

@brittany88, that is the attitude to have! You continue to think that way there is nothing that can/will stop you from being the best that you can be. There will be some hard days, but prayer and faith will get you through. I've not been through it, but I've witnessed it. You got this!

I was raised by a single mom and I cannot even explain the love and respect I have for her today. Especially me being grown and a mom myself, I realize the sacrifice and hard work it was for her. It has made me hard working, independent and a better mom. You are amazing!

@zai_n_zi, thank you. My mom did it as well but my dad passed wen my mom was pregnant with me but she always made sure we had n if we didn’t she always made sure we never noticed
