I suggest doing kick counts after drinking ice water or something sweet and laying on your left side. You'd want 10 movements (kicks, rolls, swishes, flutters) within two hours. You should generally do these around the same time each day when the baby is normally active.

Baby should be moving right up to birth, so if you don't have activity, I'd call your OB and see if they want you to go in.

@haslberry Thank you with my first 2 pregnancies I got the flu shot and never had any symptoms. So that's why I'm like really now lol. He have slowed down on his movement yesterday he moved all day but today it's every now and then.

You are building immunity to the flu as we speak, it just won't reach its peak for 10-14 days. Even if you gave birth today, you'd pass some level of immunity to the baby.

If you are having issues with your blood pressure, then they may admit you if your numbers are concerning. But just being sick with a cold wouldn't necessitate an induction - only if it causes complications that endanger you or baby. Hopefully that's not the case here.

@haslberry I will be 37 weeks then they only inducing me cause of my blood pressure. The nurse that gave me the flu shot told me it would take 2 for it to kick in. Tomorrow it will only be a week and I go to the doctor tomorrow smh.

I'm going to guess it is a cold. I had one at 36 weeks and it really did a number on me because the immune system is suppressed in pregnancy. The 22nd is far enough away though that you'll be over the initial infection and probably have only lingering symptoms of coughing/stuffy nose. I gave birth at 38+2, and my symptoms magically disappeared after that.
