@wolfe1134, no two cats but I think if you have dogs it shouldn’t be any different I’d make sure that whomever is feeding them and walking them is someone that they are completely comfortable with it will help ease the tension of you not being around .

@prestonjeanetta0120, did you also have dogs?

I had my mom and sister go over to my house and clean the litter everyday and make sure they had food and water and just sit with them for a lil so they know everything’s okay and that they weren’t being abandoned . They were completely fine

My husband was at home most of the time, besides when I was actually in labor, so nothing really changed for them.

@zaka851, we have 2 cats also and they have a self feeder so I’m not so worried about them it’s the pups I’m worried about.

@bodybycheetos, that is what I am going to have to talk to my SO about because I just moved up to this area and he has always lived up this way so he has friends

Look into boarding or having a friend puppysit.

@wolfe1134, i stayed for 4 days and he had to go home to go change anyways, if it was less then that we would probably leave food and water and leave him by himself. But he’s a cat so I don’t know if it’s different with dogs?

@fakoff.diehexe, that was the original plan but over the weekend the in-laws one dog attacked our new baby and my SO said that is no longer an option.

@zaka851, we thought about that but he doesn’t want to leave me. It’s his first baby and doesn’t want to miss anything

My husband took care of him 🐈 while he went home to change and shower. Our hospital is like 15 mins away.
