@momof3qtpies, thank you so much! I find myself asking about twins because this is my first set and so far it’s completely different from my 6 year old!

Do not necessarily need 2 of everything, but I started with 1 of somethings and ended up getting 2. You need 2 of the things that they will use at the same time, like car seats and high chairs. But only 1 changing table or baby bath. You can start with 1 of each of they things to put them in during the day like bouncers, bumbos, swings, rock n plays, play mats, exersaucers. See what they like first, then maybe get a second one later. I ended up with 2 of almost each. As for strollers, I did a folding cart for when they were in the car seat carriers. Used it all the time. Carrying 2 is hard. After they moved up to the bigger car seats, then a got a double stroller (actually a triple because my first is 2 years older than the twins). People spend to much on strollers that fit the car seats. The double cart is about $70 and is smaller/lighter than full strollers. Do not buy too much clothes for preemie size. You do not need much if they are in the hospital and buying more clothes later is easy. But, once they are home you will need more clothes and blankets. General rule with newborns because accidents happen often.

@momof3cuties, thank you. I’m in this mood where I feel like I need everything together before they are here. I’m 22 weeks and my doctor told me anywhere from the 1st or 2nd week of January they will be here. I know it’s still awhile away lol

I would say you need 2 of everything. I don't have twins but know people who has. They had 2 of everything and a few premiee outfits
