When did contractions start for you ladies and how soon after were you in active labor?

I remember it like it was yesterday lol. It was last year I was 39 +5 weeks and I woke up to contractions thinking I had to use the bathroom. I waited a hour before going to the hospital and once I got there it was 2:30AM and I had my son that morning at 10:41AM. So I was in active labor as soon as I woke up to contractions

@mamabear008, I had a couple small ones on Friday night, nothing since then. But tonight I’ve had quite a few but kind of all over the place.

@mrs.a, you’ll know when you’re in active labor and when it’s real. You’ll be feeling them. And TMI I had diarrhea before even going

@mamabear008, these are just super painful but not consistent. When I had my son 2 years ago everything kinda happened differently and very fast because he came at 28 weeks. So, I’m having a hard time remembering.

What do contractions even feel like? 😶

@liza286, they feel like very intense period cramps, that last anywhere from seconds to a minute or so.
