@chelseaz, 1. My husband can’t leave unless his command says he can which they haven’t 2. We can’t afford it on our own, but if the commander of the base says it’s mandatory then we can use our government travel card to pay for it
@youngbutwisemomma, oh ok. That’s crazy they won’t let everyone just go. I heard Okaloosa county issued an evacuation and schools already closed. Hopefully if it’s going to be really bad, they make the call for y’all. ☹️
@chelseaz, yeah there are several areas around us calling for an evacuation so I’m just hoping they’ll finally just evacuate us. Some are saying maybe tomorrow they will so let’s just hope it’s not too late when they finally do.
@youngbutwisemomma, yeah, since we just moved from there, we have so many friends still there. We already texted offering our home in Alabama because we only live two hours away for any families that need to evacuate before an official order. Seems everyone is strapped for cash - the military doesn’t need to wait so long if it’s as serious as predicted 😕
