How do you ladies feel about baby showers that are held at restaurants...?
@angelfoodcake, I wouldn’t expect my meal to be covered. I’ve attended a baby shower and we all paid our own meals. My best friend was gona do my second small baby shower at a restaurant and everyone was gona pay for themselves it was jus gona be about 15 girls.
I had a shower and have been to showers at restaurants. Ours were mainly at “off hours” where a meal wasn’t expected. Appetizers and drinks were paid for by the host(s). If you wanted to order anything else, that was on you.
A baby shower should have food and refreshments covered
@angelfoodcake I'm sorry. If you told me if you have my meal covered, yes. If you told me you can't pay for my meal, still yes but I would pay. If no one can afford any meal, then we wouldn't go in the first place. I hope that suffices.
@roses702 Thanks for answering...
@nlw girl, you are confusing me, if I invited you would you come with your meal being paid for in mind, yes or no? Lololol
@angelfoodcake If that's the plan, then yes. If no one can afford it, then don't go.
@nlw me , family whoever - would your meal being covered be a honest expectation...
@bitchcraft @thats_greasy would guys expect for your meal to be paid for or would pay for your attendees meal?
@angelfoodcake who said you have to pay? Maybe your spouse or other family member can do it. I wouldn't go begging for it though.
@nlw Nah I wouldn't be paying for everyone's dinner... Do you really expect that? Serious question...
I never even thought about that. Sounds fun and maybe a little easier.
We did our family one at a restaurant, and they each expected to pay for their own kids (teenagers), but hubby took out his wallet and paid for everyone.... Mostly his side of the family....
Only reason we did a restaurant was cause it was kinda halfway between us down south and them a little north... That and the cleanup, LOL
