For vaginal delivery do you really have to wait till 6 weeks to have sexxx???
Yes definitely! The part of your uterus where the placenta was attached is like a big open wound and needs this time to fully heal. Don’t risk infection by having sex before doctor clears you.
@xoxochelsey I had third degree tear (4th is the worst all the way to the rectum 😬) and it can be sensitive after but doesn't bother me while we are doing it. But at 6 weeks pp I had to make him stop it was so painful.
@jmedina I tore up the side and had to have a lot of stitches and still did it 2-3 weeks later. Mine still hurts at times but I think its one of those things ill just have to deal with. And hearing yours is 6 years later it kinda makes a worry about it really lasting forever. But its not too to bad
If you got a stitch it will probably hurt at 6 weeks there. It took a LONG time for me not to hurt where I tore (mine was worse though) and 6 years later it still gets sensitive after sex.
@xoxochelsey I'm not ready yet I just had him 3 days ago but ill prob wait 5 weeks
My boyfriend wants to wait 12 weeks, because even at 6 weeks you are SUPER fertal and it will be VERY easy to get pregnant
It sucks lol
@jenny955 Yup just talk to your doc about it if you think your ready.
I had a c section and I think we waited 4 weeks🤷🏼♀️ we used protection and my dr wasn’t worried at all.
@xoxochelsey yeah my body is more sore then my lady parts lol bit everyone is different and every delivery is different
I didn't 🤷 I only waited 2-3 weeks but I had already stopped Post partum bleeding. Which was all my doc told me to wait for. Just ask your doc. It all really depends on the bleeding and how your delivery went. Some people rip and have a lot of probs after and some don't.
@scruffy.nerf.herder, yeahhh i wouldn’t of done it before #1 bec i was in pain and 2 i was scared of it ...and 3 i was scared of getting pregnant. Lol
@mrsmord, me too! And even then, it was considerably uncomfortable.
I want to second what @flamingomom, said: the 6 weeks is for both vaginal and C-section deliveries. No matter the delivery, there is still the site of the placenta attachment that needs to heal, regardless of how your lady bits feel.
@sassy_momma I was completely numb for my delivery the epidural was kinda wearing off so they gave me an extra shot of something right before I start pushing I just had pressure actually but after the fact yeah I'm a little sore but hurts more to pee bc I got 1 stitch and the pee hitting that area
No, it’s just a vast conspiracy by the medical community, the ultra wealthy, and eugenics supporters to try and curb population growth.
Girl I can’t believe your even thinking about a penis going up their after a painful vaginal delivery. Lol
Yes! Like others mentioned even if you feel ok, you have a huge open wound on the inside of you. Take it easy momma! It took 9 months to make a baby. Give your body the 6 weeks to heal.

With any delivery you need to wait that amount of time at the minimum to have sex. You have an open wound that needs to heal and by having sex, you can introduce an infection.
We have a racist on the APP ‼️
??????October 2018 babies??????
Congratulations to everyone who have received their bfp!
You know you have children when...
You get to work and notice that your pants have smudges of unidentifiable origin from the knee down. ?
School fees
Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
We all have a different definition of “clean”🤢
