Because parents don't teach their kids how to cook anymore, not like their grandparents taught them. Everything it seems now needs to be fast and simplified. That's one area that I wish my parents had spent more time. They never taught us kids how to cook, so I am self taught and constantly learning, still.
@techie_grrl I totally agree. My son is 3 and every time i cook or bake out comes his stool. My parents were not so great but my mother did teach me to cook and clean
@mhbb3 same! My daughter always has to be in the kitchen when I'm there anyways, so why not teach? Cooking is a necessary life skill. My mom taught us how to clean. It helped her out because it took some workload off of her, and it's a lesson I value now. But leaving home, I knew how to microwave things and bake things out of a box. And of course how to make spaghetti. But, that gets old pretty quick!

Yeah I don’t get it, it’s expensive, I wouldn’t eat most of the meals they send and I still have to cook. So why bother?

@ss3mom I just dont get why people cant just go to the store and buy the ingredients themselves. Like we all did before meal kits

I downloaded mealime its free and we eat healthier now. Its just a recipe meal plan but I go get groceries
