I never got to have a baby shower with my first 2kids. I planned one for this one since he is my last. Guess what it was canceled cause I will be induced the Monday of the baby shower which was the 27th and I get induced the 22nd. I barely have everything he needs so now we rushing buying stuff for him. But we will have everything plus more for when he arrives.

@itty_bitty Oh ok that do sound like a plan. Only thing is he will be born then I have to turn right around and have my oldest birthday party. Her birthday is November 3rd.

@itty_bitty I'm stressed cause they just sprung the induction on me today. She said we will induce you on October 22nd and I'm like what. So me and my fiance was like okay we need this we have to get this done smh. My youngest turned 2 today so I had to tell my mother the date cause she keeping her while I'm in the hospital. I don't think having the baby shower and her party together is a good idea. She having her party at the bowling alley so that will be to loud on his ears I think plus she got a different daddy. My fiance is the father of my youngest and this baby so I would be irritated cause some of her daddy family I don't really care for.

@n_favors We have to get everything he needs now. But some of the ppl still getting stuff for him since I had to canceled the baby shower.

Don’t feel bad I waited to have a baby shower till I was 37 weeks, deciding if I want one or not due to moving situations.. I still don’t have everything but I’m getting it together.. no gone lie it was stressful ! But yes try an welcoming party after your little girls party or maybe do something in nov. close to thanksgiving with family .

@happymommy3 i had my shower on a saturday and my baby the next Wednesday so i no where u coming from. Thats y i say do it right b4 u go in. Shower saturday make sure everything set up Sunday and baby Monday. Itll all work out though

I bought everything online from walmart and carters in one day!! It all came super fast and when your reasonable you dont have to spend much.

A few kids ago all of my family started doing their baby showers after baby was born. It's basically become tradition now. Still habe the party but everyone gets to see and enjoy baby being there as well.
