I try giving him prunes juice, prunes Gerber
Nothing seem to be working......

This might be a silly question but where can I buy prune juice for babies in Canada? Also, is their different types of prune juices such as for adults and babies? My 5.5 month old poops almost everyday but hard poop, so it’s a sign of constipation, I have talked to his doctor but I wanted to try the prune juice. Thanks
My doctor told me I have severe preeclampsia😔😔😔 now I'm scared💔 I hope Leah is born healthy🌸 and I hope I deliver her with no complications😔

@taylorsmommy1017, yeah it’s a pretty outdated method, and I’m sure it is effective, I just wanted to point out the possible dangers of it since a lot people aren’t aware.

@carinalana, it’s rare, but look up water intoxication in babies. That’s the reason only small amounts of water are recommended

@modom16 i give my child water when he is constipated which is only once every 2-3 weeks. his pediatrician who was also MY pediatrician is the one who suggested the caro syrup &’ water 😊

@carinalana, that’s too much water for a baby that young. They should at most only be having 2 ounces a day, which is even a lot.
@mamalove563, keep feeding prune purée and it will work. Blueberries also work really well

I give him warm baths and tummy rubs. Maybe u can try mashed beans

when my baby gets constipated i give him 2 teaspoons of caro syrup in a 6oz bottle of warm water he’s pooping literally seconds later

Apple always seems to work for my boy. Do you offer water when he gets solids (if he gets solids) it can help them from getting constipated
